Oppenheim Architecture is an international design practice operating with the philosophy that design follows life and form follows feeling. Founded in 1999 by Chad Oppenheim, FAIA, NCARB, LEED AP, the firm has received over 80 professional distinctions, including more than 50 AIA Awards and a 2018 National Design Award from Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

HBA’s ultimate objective is to add value, raise standards and enhance the brand of a projects owner and operator.

PHIL MICKELSEN

Phil Mickelson has been playing professionally since 1992 and is a five-time major champion, which includes three Green Jackets and one title each at the PGA Championship and The Open Championship. He became a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2012, and his 43 PGA TOUR victories rank ninth all time. Mickelson has been inside the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings for more than 24 consecutive years, the first player in the sport ever to do so. He has represented the United States 13 consecutive times in the Presidents Cup and has played in 12 consecutive Ryder Cups, both American records. Off the course, Mickelson has a strong commitment to giving back through the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation, which was founded in 2004 and focuses its interest primarily on supporting a variety of youth and family initiatives. Aside from his outstanding golf career, Mickelson has an unwavering desire to design extraordinary golf courses for players of all skill levels. As one of the great players of all time, he’s had the opportunity to play many of the nation’s finest golf courses. He started sketching golf holes on notepads when he was 13 years old, and fifteen years later he had his first chance to draw them in the dirt and the result was Whisper Rock, a widely acclaimed golfer’s club in Scottsdale, Arizona. A product of public golf as a junior, he’s keenly aware of what works for the average player as well as professional champions.

ERNIE ELS

Ernie Els Design is a full-service golf course design company wholly owned by its principal, four-time major champion and World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els. The international scope of Ernie’s 70 professional career victories is mirrored in the increasingly global reach of his designs, with signature courses and renovations making an impact in emerging and established golf markets alike.

Ernie Els Design enjoys unique relationships with the world’s finest developers who share the company’s ambitions, creating attractive destinations that adhere to the principles of sustainable development and sound environmental practice. The company employs the most experienced staff - including leading architect Greg Letsche as its senior design associate.

Since its formation in 2000, the company has received global recognition with a string of prestigious accolades. Notably, in 2015 Ernie was voted ‘Designer of the Year’ at the World Golf Awards. In addition, many of Ernie’s signature courses have won prestigious industry awards including ‘Best New Golf Course in the World’ for The Els Club Teluk Datai in 2014. In 2016, it also became the first layout in the Ernie Els Design portfolio to be listed in Golf Digest’s prestigious ‘World Top-100’. Currently there are 15 Ernie Els Design courses open for play, with several in various stages of planning and construction, and many more exciting projects in the pipeline.

PAI was first established in 1985 and purposely structured as a studio style architectural firm with Design and Production Staff at one company. Over years, PAI has developed a reputation for excellent design in various projects, ranging from master planning for residential and resort development, retail and recreational, theme resorts, restaurants, hospitals, offices and other industrial projects.
